Business students will consult with area organizations, helping Drake State explore enrollment and engagement while generating data-driven recommendations meant to strengthen the wider Huntsville community.
   

2. Huntsville man charged with assault after fight leads to stabbing (whnt.com) — Huntsville police say a man was stabbed Monday on Evangel Drive, suffering non-life-threatening injuries, and a local suspect was quickly detained nearby. Officers arrested 32-year-old Zachkary Ladarius Miller of Huntsville on a second-degree assault charge, and he is now being held in the Madison County Jail.
   

3. Huntsville woman drives donations to storm-ravaged hometown of Gary, Indiana (waff.com) — A Huntsville woman is rallying local generosity to support storm-battered residents in her hometown of Gary, Indiana, collecting and personally delivering essential supplies. She's now arranging a PO box so Huntsville donors can keep helping the church-based relief effort, with Indiana residents publicly thanking the Huntsville community for its support.
   

4. 'No greater feeling': Columbia Eagles snap 101-game losing streak (wkrg.com) — Huntsville fans just watched Columbia High's football team snap a 101-game losing streak with a 41-14 win at Milton Frank Stadium. After falling behind 14-0, the Eagles rode senior Christian Richey's four-touchdown performance to 41 unanswered points, giving players and coaches a long-awaited fresh start before hosting East Limestone next Friday.
   

5. These are Alabama's most expensive ZIP codes to buy a home (al.com) — Huntsville's most expensive housing market is ZIP code 35763, covering Hampton Cove, where typical home values are about $446,000, ranking 18th statewide. A local agent says strong new construction and a mix of high-end and starter homes keep Huntsville's prices below Birmingham's priciest ZIPs while still pushing this neighborhood's values higher.
