Paired with a Saenger Theatre concert, a downtown mural festival, and special Buffett-themed food tours, locals can rediscover their city while exploring Buffett's deep roots in Mobile.
3. Mobile County Public School System recognized nationally for attendance progress (wkrg.com) — Mobile County families may be seeing the results of a major push to get students back in class, as the public school system has earned national recognition for sharply reducing chronic absenteeism to 12.8%. District attendance officers now closely track data at every school, partner with agencies, and connect families with mental health and other supports to keep kids engaged.
