Mobile Public Works Projects To Improve Mobile’s Streets, Parks

Under the direction of Mayor Sandy Stimpson, City of Mobile employees received ratification Tuesday from the Mobile City Council to move forward with several Public Works projects.

“With these improvements, our citizens will continue to enjoy an enhanced quality of life in the City of Mobile,” Mayor Stimpson said.
Public Works Executive Director James DeLapp and his management team will oversee the projects.

- McElhenney Construction Company, LLC, will reconstruct Little Flower Avenue for $472,745.
- Youngblood-Barrett Construction & Engineering, LLC, received a $139,795 contract for restroom improvements at Dog River Park.
