Visioning Process Begins For Langan Park

The planning team will receive input through work sessions, an on-line survey and various focus group meetings.

Today, the City of Mobile released the vision for Langan Park. “The City of Mobile continues to invest in our communities,” said Mayor Stimpson. “This vision is the beginning of a long and collaborative process to revitalize one of our finest assets. We are excited about the future of Langan Park.” The vision for Langan was created through months of feedback from stakeholders and the general public.

“These projects will completely transform our beloved Langan Park,” said Councilwoman Gina Gregory. “Our plans include revitalizing the existing assets and complementing them with new ones to ensure the park serves the needs and wants of our community for generations to come.” A comprehensive planning effort is underway. The Parks and Recreation planning team will receive input through work sessions, an on-line survey and various focus group meetings. The overall goal is to develop a five-year implementation plan.
