• Mountain Brook Demolishes Hueytown in Season Opener, 60-18 (otmj.com) — Mountain Brook High School's football team opened its 2026 season with a dominant 60-18 road win over Hueytown, powered by four touchdowns from John Colvin and a stifling run defense. The Spartans controlled nearly every stat category and now turn their attention to a road trip to Mobile to face UMS-Wright on Friday, August 28.
