Mountain Brook Kindergarten Registration Begins In February

Mountain Brook schools will begin registering students for kindergarten, beginning with Cherokee Bend February 6.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL - Enrollment into kindergarten classes at Mountain Brook schools is right around the corner. Each elementary school has a specific date on which registration begins.

Registration for each school is as follows:

  • Brookwood Forest Elementary: February 27
  • Cherokee Bend Elementary: February 6
  • Crestline Elementary: February 13
  • Mountain Brook Elementary: February 20

Parents are asked to plan to arrive between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Beginning January 28, 2019, parents may go to the Mtn. Brook Schools district website, and create their child’s online student account and enter the child’s demographic information as instructed. You will also be able to pay for kindergarten items such as supplies and field trips. Parents must complete the online process prior to attending on-site enrollment.

Parents must bring with them:

  • Proof of Residency, such as Property Deed, Title Insurance, or current Lease Agreement. If siblings are currently enrolled in Mtn. Brook Schools and the family residence has not changed, proof of residency is not required.
  • Child’s Social Security Card (voluntary). If you do not have a social security number or elect not to provide it, an internal number will be assigned.
  • Certified Birth Certificate (or other proof of age)
  • Certificate of Immunization (Original Form you currently have even if your child is not five yet.) You can send an updated form after your child turns five.
