Two MBHS Grads Make Presidential Honors Lists

One MBHS alum at the University of Alabama and one at Kennesaw State University made the Presidential Honors list.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL - Two Mountain Brook High School graduates were named to their university's Presidential Honors List for the summer term. Sam Morris was named to the University of Alabama's list, while Magnus Gorrie made the list at Kennesaw State University.

To be named to the President's List, each student must have satisfactorily completed at least 9 semester hours with a term grade point average of 4.0. (For more updates on school news and free news alerts for your neighborhood, sign up for your local Patch morning newsletter.)

Gorrie was among the more than 600 Kennesaw State students who were honored for academic excellence in the Summer 2018 semester, while Morris was one of 493 students in Tuscaloosa to make either the Dean's List or Presidential Honors list.
