Two Mountain Brook Debaters Win Top Honors At Nationals
Two Mountain Brook debaters placed first overall in public policy in the national debate tournament.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL - Mountain Brook High School has a long and proud history with its debate team, with decades of winning on the local, state and national stages. This year, two Mountain Brook Junior High School debaters took top honors National Speech and Debate Tournament in Ft. Lauderdale last week.
Claire Lauterbach and Jane Grey Battle, eight grade students at MBJH, were awarded the top spot in a unanimous decision by the judges in public forum debate.
