• Vertical Construction on $350 Million University Beach Resort in Northport Could Start by December (wtug.com) — Northport's $350 million University Beach resort is nearing the end of its infrastructure phase, with lagoon and beach club construction expected to start in early December off McFarland Boulevard. City leaders say the controversial public‑private project remains on schedule, with a 30‑month deadline for Phase 1 and an anticipated opening in 2028, so residents can expect visible vertical work soon.
