• Revvin' 4 Research returns for 18th year to support breast cancer research in Alabama (wbrc.com) — A major charity motorcycle ride is coming right to Heart of Dixie Harley-Davidson in Pelham on Sunday, Sept. 13, supporting breast cancer research across Alabama. Riders can pre-register online, choose T-shirt options while supplies last, and join a community-focused event that starts and ends in Pelham, with all proceeds funding lifesaving research statewide.
• Arrest reports from June 1-July 13 (shelbycountyreporter.com) — Recent arrest reports include several Pelham cases, ranging from DUI and drug charges to alias writs of arrest and extradition holds. The broader report also lists arrests from nearby Helena and Montevallo, giving residents a snapshot of recent law-enforcement activity around Pelham.
• Alabaster police release new timeline in disappearance of 67-year-old man (cbs42.com) — Police say a missing 67-year-old Alabaster man was given a ride to Pelham around 2 p.m. on Aug. 13 before later being seen back at an Alabaster shopping center that evening. Because he has medical issues that affect communication, anyone who may have seen him in Pelham or Alabaster is urged to call 911.
