TUSCALOOSA, AL — Stillman College on Friday announced it will welcome NBA legend and business leader Earvin "Magic" Johnson as its 2026 commencement speaker.
Johnson, widely regarded as one of the greatest players in basketball history, has built a reputation beyond the court as a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist focused on transforming communities through business and investment.
College officials said his message will center on leadership, purpose and legacy as graduates prepare to enter the next chapter of their lives.
The commencement ceremony is scheduled for May 9.
“Class of 2026, this one’s for you,” the college said in its announcement. “Walk boldly. Lead intentionally. Leave your mark.”
Stillman College said additional commencement details will be released in the coming weeks.
