TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Tuscaloosa woman was killed and three others injured in a single-vehicle crash late Saturday night in Tuscaloosa County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says Ashley M. Kornegay, 36, died after the 2007 GMC Yukon she was riding in left the roadway and struck a tree.
Kornegay was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Alabama 216 near about five miles east of Tuscaloosa.
ALEA also said the driver of the vehicle and two other passengers were injured and transported to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
