Members of the band are scheduled to join City of Tuscaloosa officials for a ceremonial tree planting at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater box office, located at 2710 Jack Warner Parkway.

This will coincide with the band's performance at the amphitheater later that evening.

The effort is part of a long-running tradition for CAKE, which plants one tree in each city it visits while on tour.

The initiative aims to promote environmental awareness and leave a lasting, positive impact in communities where the band performs.

The city says the band partners with local organizations to identify meaningful public spaces for each planting, reinforcing its environmentally conscious approach to touring.

The ceremony will be closed to the general public.
