Female Pedestrian Struck And Killed On Skyland Boulevard Thursday Morning

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department says a 67-year-old woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Skyland Boulevard early Thursday morning.

TPD said the woman was crossing in the 100 block of Skyland Boulevard when she was hit by a westbound vehicle around 2:08 a.m.

Investigators said the woman's injuries were serious and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

TPD’s Traffic Homicide Unit responded to the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
