Ingram, a Stillman graduate and former Tigers student-athlete, succeeds Jamarra Robinson, who recently resigned after one season to become an NCAA Division I associate head coach.

“I am thankful for the opportunity to serve my alma mater as the next women’s basketball head coach,” Ingram said. “It’s time to get to work and keep the winning tradition alive.”

A native of Monticello, Florida, Ingram has spent the last seven seasons as an assistant coach for the Stillman women’s basketball program.

During that time, the Tigers won 99 games dating back to the 2019-20 season and posted five consecutive seasons without a losing record, marking a first in program history.

Stillman also won an HBCU Athletic Conference Championship and made an appearance in the NAIA National Championship Tournament in 2025.

“Coach Ingram brings a wealth of program experience, leadership and a deep commitment to student-athlete development both on and off the court,” Stillman Director of Athletics Terrance Whittle said.

Whittle also pointed to Ingram’s recruiting ability, commitment to academic excellence and focus on building a strong team culture as reasons he was the right fit for the program.

Ingram began his college playing career at Chattahoochee Valley Community College before transferring to Stillman, where he played from 2013 to 2015.

He appeared in 55 games with 16 starts for the Tigers, totaling 261 points, 213 rebounds and 44 blocks.

He later served as a student assistant on Stillman’s 2015-16 SIAC championship team that advanced to national postseason play. He also played on the men’s tennis team that finished third in the SIAC in 2016.

Ingram graduated from Stillman in 2016 before earning a master’s degree from the University of Alabama in Human Environmental Sciences with a concentration in Sports Business Management in 2020.

In addition to his work in athletics, Ingram has served as Stillman’s Upward Bound coordinator and counselor since 2021.

He is also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. and the father of one son, Ashton.
