The fundraiser, titled was created by the boyfriend of Hollis' sister following the discovery of her remains after more than a week of searching by family members, friends and investigators.
The GoFundMe page says the funds raised will be used to help Hollis’ family ease the financial burden associated with funeral arrangements.
As Patch previously reported, the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit said Hollis' body was found by family members Saturday in Greene County after she was first reported missing from a Northport apartment complex on May 8.
Randall Lendell Dejourne has since been charged with abuse of a corpse and booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail with bond set at $15,000.
