Tuscaloosa Bridge Inspection To Cause Delays Next Week

ALDOT announced Tuesday it will conduct a routine inspection of the Woolsey Finnell Bridge in Tuscaloosa next week.

TUSCALOOSA – The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) announced Tuesday it will conduct a routine inspection of the Woolsey Finnell Bridge in Tuscaloosa on Monday, June 1, and Tuesday, June 2.

ALDOT says intermittent lane closures are scheduled on US-82 near the bridge from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days, weather permitting.

The crew will begin on the westbound side and at least one lane will be open in each direction throughout the inspection.

Officials said motorists should expect possible delays and should use caution in the work zone.
