The donations will go to Eastwood Middle School, Oakdale Elementary School and The Alberta School of Performing Arts following Wallen’s April 18 concert at Bryant-Denny Stadium, where former Alabama football coach Nick Saban joined him for his walkout.

The donated instruments will include clarinets, trombones, xylophones, a vibraphone and other band and percussion equipment.

“These instruments will provide incredible opportunities for our students and enhance music instruction for years to come,” TCS Superintendent Mike Daria said.

The Morgan Wallen Foundation supports youth programs in music and sports, while its Tour Give Back Program provides donations to communities that host Wallen’s tour stops.

Veronica Crawford, band director at The Alberta School of Performing Arts, said the new instruments come as the program prepares for its largest incoming sixth-grade class.

“This is an amazing gift to our program, and we are so appreciative that TASPA was selected,” Crawford said.

The grant is being administered through the Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, which partners with organizations nationwide to support school music programs through instrument donations.
