TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Community Foundation of West Alabama on Wednesday announced the 2026 class of Pillars of West Alabama, recognizing eight individuals for their contributions to the region.

The 2026 honorees are Beth Curtis, Brock Jones, Lin Moore, Tommy Nettles, William Oswalt, Pam Bucy Pierson, and Samory and Pam Pruitt.
The honorees will be recognized during the Pillars of West Alabama event Oct. 1 at Indian Hills Country Club.
The Pillars of West Alabama program was established in 2004 to honor citizens whose leadership and service have made a lasting impact on communities across West Alabama.
