Hall, a Northport native who attended Flatwoods as a student and later returned as a teacher, was named to the position this week and introduced to the school community on Friday.
"Ms. Hall started her educational path as a kindergartner at Flatwoods, later becoming a third-grade teacher and now full circle to principal," the school said.
Hall recently served as an assistant principal at Brookwood Middle School and prior to that, she taught at Flatwoods Elementary and worked as an instructional coach at Northport Intermediate School.
A lifelong resident of Northport, Hall attended Flatwoods Elementary, Lloyd Wood Middle School and Tuscaloosa County High School.
She earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Alabama in 2013 and later completed a master's degree in instructional leadership from the University of West Alabama.
Additionally, Hall is a National Board Certified Teacher as a middle childhood generalist.
She also gained notoriety for her 2019 appearance on the Nickelodeon game show "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?"
