10 AL Companies Land On Newsweek's List Of 'America’s Greatest Workplaces'

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Ten Alabama firms have been recognized among Newsweek's list of America's Greatest Workplaces 2026.

These companies represent sectors like construction, health care, manufacturing, insurance and technology.

The rankings were compiled by Newsweek in partnership with market data firm Plant-A Insights Group.

Companies were evaluated using employee interviews, company reviews, publicly available data and analyses of workplace culture, compensation, career development opportunities, work-life balance and other factors.

Leading the Alabama contingent is Dothan-based Construction Partners, the only Alabama company in the rankings to receive a perfect five-star rating.

A group of major Alabama employers followed closely behind with 4.5-star ratings, including some of the state's largest health care providers, manufacturers and insurers.
