TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa City Schools (TCS) is looking to fill teaching positions ahead of the start of the new school year and will host a hiring fair Wednesday at Paul W. Bryant High School.

The hiring event is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 5, in the school's library and will take place from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The district says it is seeking candidates for English and Spanish teaching positions.
TCS administrators will conduct on-the-spot interviews and applicants are encouraged to bring a current résumé.
Interested candidates should also complete an application through the Tuscaloosa City Schools careers website.
TCS said its teacher salaries are 3.5% above the state salary matrix and include a competitive benefits package.
Paul W. Bryant High School is located at 6315 Mary Harmon Bryant Drive in Cottondale.
