TUSCALOOSA, AL — Few details have been released about an active shooting investigation in Tuscaloosa involving numerous victims.

Captain Marty Sellers of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit told local media early Sunday morning that Tuscaloosa Police and VCU investigators were on the scene of a shooting with seven victims in the 2600 block of 22nd Street.
He went on to say three of the victims are seriously injured.
Sellers then said no further details would be released at this time.
