The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said Dawn M. Buckingham was driving a 2002 Ford F-150 when the pickup left the roadway, traveled down an embankment and overturned at about 9:50 a.m. Saturday.
ALEA said Buckingham was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
She was pronounced dead at the scene near the 45 mile marker on Interstate 59, roughly five miles north of Eutaw.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
