Stillman College Names 4 New Members To Board Of Trustees

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Stillman College on Monday announced the election of four new members to its Board of Trustees.

Stillman President Yolanda W. Page said the new trustees will begin their service at the board's Oct. 26 meeting.

The four new members are:

• Joseph Brown, Western Division area manager for Alabama Power.
• Charles E. Johnson, president of SodexoMagic.
• A.J. McCampbell, Alabama state representative for House District 71.
• Fitzgerald Washington, corporate director of external affairs and community engagement for Buffalo Rock Co. and former Alabama secretary of labor.

Page said the new trustees bring extensive professional experience and strong connections to Tuscaloosa, West Alabama and the state.

"Their perspectives will strengthen the Board as we carry out ASCEND 2030 and build on the momentum of our Sesquicentennial year," Page said in a message to the Stillman community.

The appointments come as Stillman continues implementing its ASCEND 2030 strategic plan and celebrating its 150th anniversary.

"Our trustees serve as stewards of Stillman's mission and its future," Page said. "I am grateful to Chairman [Joe] Hampton and the Board for their thoughtful work in identifying these new members, and I am grateful to each of our new trustees for answering the call to serve."
