Marion Junction Man Killed Monday In Perry County Crash

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Marion Junction man is dead following a two-vehicle crash Monday evening east of Uniontown in Perry County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said the two-vehicle crash occurred at approximately 5:10 p.m., Monday, when the 2013 Ford F-150 driven John L. Sullivan, 69, struck the trailer of the 1993 White WG42T tractor-trailer driven by a man from Marion.

ALEA says Sullivan was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The fatal crash reportedly occurred on Perry County Road 12 near Tolbert Warren Road, roughly six miles east of Uniontown.
