Missing Tuscaloosa Woman Found Safe In Mississippi

The Tuscaloosa Police Department says a woman reported missing earlier this week has been located and is safe.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department says a Tuscaloosa woman reported missing on Wednesday has been found safe in Mississippi.

TPD said on social media that officers with the Jackson Police Department contacted TPD investigators on Saturday after Alisa Guy was found safe and unharmed.

As Patch previously reported, Guy was first reported missing by her mother on Wednesday

In its latest update, TPD says Guy and her boyfriend traveled to Mississippi on a Greyhound bus Thursday, July 14, before he returned alone and told her family members that he didn’t know where she was.

TPD then said Jackson Police officers received information about Guy's possible whereabouts and located her while conducting a welfare check today.
