TUSCALOOSA, AL — Multiple law enforcement agencies will be in Annette Shelby Park Tuesday night for the 40th anniversary of National Night Out.

The annual event aims to build positive relationships between members of the community and the law enforcement officers who protect them.

The free, family-friendly event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and last until 8 p.m.

Attendees will be able to enjoy hands-on equipment displays, rescue and K9 demonstrations, Q&A booths and more.

The following agencies will be in attendance: Tuscaloosa Police Department, Northport Police Department, Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Tuscaloosa Fire & Rescue Service, University of Alabama Police Department, Alabama Game & Fish Division and the Stillman Police Department.
