No Injuries After Saturday Night Shooting On Englewood Drive
The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a Saturday night shooting off of Highway 69 South in Tuscaloosa County.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a Saturday night shooting off of Highway 69 South which, fortunately, did not result in any reported injuries.

Captain Jack Kennedy, commander of the multiagency unit, told local media Monday morning that deputies with the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Office responded at 11:3o p.m. to a call of a shooting in the 1800 block of Englewood Drive.

Kennedy said multiple shots were fired during a large gathering or party, with two vehicles struck by gunfire.
No arrests have been announced in the shooting and Kennedy said the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit is actively investigating the incident.
