"Community input and support is vital for making our system stronger," TCS Deputy Superintendent James Pope said. "We had excellent comments and suggestions during the first community forum, however we decided to host a second to allow more people to attend."
TCS aims to collect student, staff, parent, and community input in the hopes of promoting unity within all of its schools.
The forum is the bi-product of data from a culture survey conducted this year, along with recent input from the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council.
"It's critical for student success that each and every student feel safe and supported at their school," TCS Superintendent Mike Daria said. "These community forums are important in our work to strengthen unity as a school system and ensure that we continue to provide a positive environment where students thrive."
In addition to the community forums at Northridge High, there will be similar events held at Central High School and Paul W. Bryant High School later this school year.
