NORTHPORT, AL — Soroptimist International is set to host its Shop to Stop Human Trafficking Event on Friday at Northport City Hall.

The event will last from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., with proceeds going to benefit the multiagency West Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force — a unit made up of investigators from area law enforcement agencies with the specific mission of combating human trafficking and sex crimes.
