Tuscaloosa Woman Dies From Injuries After Thursday Morning Crash
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says a two-vehicle crash on Thursday resulted in the death of a Tuscaloosa woman.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says a two-vehicle crash on Thursday resulted in the death of a Tuscaloosa woman.

ALEA says the crash occurred Thursday morning at approximately 10:47 a.m. when a 2013 Ford Edge carrying two people was struck by a 2017 Nissan Versa driven by a Tuscaloosa man. The crash reportedly occurred on Alabama Highway 69, near the 138 mile marker

State troopers said the driver and one of the passengers in the Ford Edge — Marilyn J. Morse 87 — were injured in the crash and transported to DCH Regional Medical Center along with one of the passengers in the Nissan Versa.
ALEA said Morse died from her injuries on Friday.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation and no word has been given as to the statuses of the other two injured in the collision.
