Vance Teen Killed In Crash Saturday Night On Highway 69
A teenager from Vance is dead following a single-vehicle crash Saturday night on Alabama Highway 69, roughly five miles south of Tuscaloosa.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A teenager from Vance is dead following a single-vehicle crash Saturday night on Alabama Highway 69, roughly five miles south of Tuscaloosa.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says the crash occurred at approximately 10:25 p.m. when the 2005 Nissan Maxima driven by the 17-year-old left the roadway and struck a ditch.

ALEA said the teen was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and later died from their injuries at a local hospital after being transported from the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
