Victim Identified After Fatal Shooting On 27th Street Monday
The victim in a fatal shooting that left one other person injured Monday evening has been identified.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit has identified a 26-year-old man killed in a shooting Monday night in the 3000 block of 27th Street.

Captain Jack Kennedy, commander of the multi-agency unit, said at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers with the Tuscaloosa Police Department responded to the call of a shooting where two victims were transported to DCH with gunshot wounds.

Lamont LaKeith Cameron died from his injuries, while a second victim is expected to survive.
No arrests or suspects have been announced in the shooting.
