Woman Charged With Attempted Murder After Shooting Man In Coaling

The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit has charged a woman in connection to a Monday morning shooting on Dudley Road in Coaling.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man was shot Monday morning in the 16000 block of Dudley Road in Coaling.

Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit Commander, Captain Jack Kennedy, told local media that Coaling Police and Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's deputies were called to the residence. Once on scene, a man was found to have been shot once and suffering from injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Kennedy then said Christina Michelle Miller, 34, was taken into custody after evidence and witness testimony indicated that she intentionally shot the man.

Miller was charged with one count of attempted murder and certain persons prohibited from possessing firearms. She remains in the Tuscaloosa County Jail without bond.
