Woman Injured In Shooting At Tuscaloosa Apartment Complex
A woman was transported to DCH with injuries after a Tuesday morning shooting at Forrester Gardens on James I. Harrison Parkway.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — The Tuscaloosa Police Department says a woman was injured Tuesday morning in a shooting at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex.

TPD spokeswoman Stephanie Taylor told local media that officers are currently on scene at Forrester Gardens on James I. Harrison Parkway. The initial call of the shooting came in at 6:55 a.m.

The 40-year-old woman injured in the shooting was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Taylor said a suspect is currently being sought, with the investigation now being handled by the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit.
