• Forestry officials say Colbert County wildfire contained at 150 acres (rocketcitynow.com) — A wildfire in Colbert County near Tuscumbia has burned about 150 acres but is now contained, according to the Alabama Forestry Commission. Crews will keep monitoring the area, along with a separate Escambia County fire, as the state continues battling several blazes, including a difficult one at Oak Mountain State Park.
