• City to hold hearings on 2027 budget, employee raises Monday (vestaviavoice.com) — Vestavia Hills residents can weigh in Monday at 5:30 p.m. as the City Council holds public hearings on the proposed $83.5 million general fund budget for 2027 and a 2% pay raise for all city employees. The meeting at City Hall will also cover a hazard mitigation plan, next steps for a new library and community facility at Sicard Hollow, and a Down Syndrome Awareness Month proclamation.
