• Elmore County leaders cut ribbon to new government complex (waka.com) — Wetumpka residents now have a new $14 million Elmore County government complex where they can handle permits, fines, and passport renewals on a more spacious first floor. The second floor houses the sheriff and circuit clerk, and a second phase will renovate the old judicial complex to accommodate two additional judges as the county's caseload grows.
