  1. A man was shot twice while driving a car with his three-year-old daughter in the back seat. Kraig Pierce's wife handed her gun to 22-year-old Joshua M. Perkins to show him. To both Pierce's and his wife's shock, Perkins shot at him. (Anchorage Daily News)
  2. The winners have finally been announced for the BroadwayWorld Anchorage Awards. Over 100 cities worldwide participate every year. Make sure to go check out the winners for this year! (Broadway World)
  3. The Anchorage School District has announced that schools could temporarily close due to the lack of staffing because of COVID and other problems. Along with the issue of COVID, schools have been understaffed due to the recent inclement weather that is causing travel delays. Superintendent Deena Bishop wants everyone to be prepared for these absences. (Alaska Public Media News)
