Since 2018, UAA's Democracy & Civic Action Week has invited students, faculty, staff,
and community members to explore diverse perspectives about the role of democracy
and civic engagement in the United States. This year's theme is “Bringing Community
Together.” Through a range of activities provided by departments, programs, and organizations
from across campus, presenters and participants are encouraged to learn from the past,
to explore the issues of today, and to imagine who we could be as a democratic society.

All events are free, and all virtual events are open to the public. Please see our schedule for more information.
