The Alaska Small Business Development Center (Alaska SBDC) is housed under the UAA
Business Enterprise Institute (BEI) and is looking for an experienced professional
to lead our Anchorage Center.

This Director position is a vital part of the fast-paced Anchorage Center; the largest
center in the statewide network. The Center Director is responsible for managing the
Anchorage business advisors, representing the Alaska SBDC at Anchorage business and
entrepreneurial events, developing and implementing new fundraising strategies and
programs as well as maintaining relationships with local and regional stakeholders.
In addition, the Center Director also serves as a business advisor, assisting Anchorage-based
businesses with many aspects of business formation or ongoing business development
as well as personal aspects of client personality, emotion, family, financial, and
maturity implications and interactions. Applicants for this position should possess
strong management skills, experience working with Alaskan businesses, and the ability
to develop strong partnerships across a broad range of stakeholders.
