About the study: Dietetics and Nutrition Assistant Professor Leslie Redmond and research team are interested
in learning more about how they can support UAA athletes in achieving optimal performance
through improved nutritional strategies. You will be asked to complete a survey assessing
your food and nutrition related knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors (KAB) as well
as current food habits and preferences. Learning this information will help us to
develop nutrition-focused educational materials and programs for UAA athletes in the
future.
What’s in it for you? Athletes who complete the survey will have the option to receive a $5 discount for
use at the UAA Campus Store and/or be entered to win one of three test packages from
the UAA Human Performance Lab. Test package will include one BOD POD test and one
VO2max test. You can learn more about these tests at the Human Performance Lab website.
