IT Services and the UAA/APU Consortium Library are working together to help you. Chromebooks
and laptops are available for students to check out for both short-term and semester-long
use.

For semester-long laptop check out through the Academic Equipment Loan Program, you
must meet some eligibility requirements. To request a Chromebook or laptop simply create a request using this form to get the process started. You can also use the form to request an internet hotspot
if you are unable to get internet access needed for classwork on your own. For more
information on the Academic Equipment Loan Program, visit the UAA Technology Portal article or contact the IT Tech Support Center at 907-786-4646 or uaa.techsupport@alaska.edu.

For short-term checkout, just visit the Consortium Library. The library has PCs and
Macs to check out for a week at a time. If you need to take an RPNow test, you can
get a laptop on a 3-day check out for that at the library as well. For more information,
please visit the library’s Borrow Laptops and Other Technology page.
