Seawolf Mentor is offering two mentorship programs this year! If you register as a mentor or mentee
(or have already registered) and complete the mentor matching survey by Sept. 8, 9
or 10, you will be entered into a drawing for a $250 scholarship from each of our
colleges, as well as a chance to win some tech items to get “Powered by GCI!”

Seawolf Mentor - First-year ExperienceIf you are a first-year student, please consider signing up for our First-Year Experience
Seawolf Mentor Program. You will be paired with a more advanced UAA student who can
help you in the transition to becoming a UAA Seawolf!

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors: Do you enjoy connecting with fellow students? Have
you received mentorship in the past and found it to be a valuable experience? We encourage
you to sign up to mentor a first year student! Even just a couple of hours a month
can make the difference in success for our students.

Seawolf CareerSophomore, Juniors and Seniors: If you are thinking a lot about your professional
next steps after college, are considering multiple career paths or simply want guidance
on how to find a job or get into graduate school, then our Seawolf Career mentorship
program is for you! You will be paired with a UAA alum based on shared academic or
professional interests who can provide guidance or a network in the professional industry
you are interested in!

Graduate Students: As you build a professional network to support your career advancement,
a UAA alum mentor can offer you invaluable guidance. Connecting with one who knows
the graduate school experience will enhance your academic journey and provide endless
opportunities for future benefit.
