University Of Alaska Anchorage: Secure Your Account With Multi-Factor Authentication

We'll be sending an email out with additional information about MFA and enrollment timeline.

September 3, 2021

In early June, UAA IT Services began to roll out a security enhancement called Multi-Factor
Authentication (MFA) to better protect users and sensitive UAA information from malicious
cyber-attacks. Over the past few months, we have seen a significant increase in the
number of attempts to access and steal university information by stealing usernames
and passwords and gaining access to employee accounts. Enabling MFA on your account
is one very important way to protect you and the university from these attacks. MFA,
using a tool called Duo, will be rolled out to all University of Alaska employees
over the next few months. We invite you at your convenience to enroll in MFA using
the information provided below.
