The 2021 Student Research & Creative Scholarship Showcase committee is gearing up
for the first-of-its-kind offering to students, and we want YOU to help us evaluate
the best student scholarship at UAA!

What we need from you:

What you would be doing:

  1. Identify the division you would like to evaluate, and email John Schultz (jschul28@alaska.edu) to indicate your interest. The competitive divisions are: Arts & Humanities, Social
    Sciences, Natural Sciences and Graduate Students.
  2. On Friday, April 23, you will receive entries submitted to that division for your
    evaluation. Entries have been standardized into conference poster-style presentations
    and evaluation rubrics will be provided.
  3. Review the student submissions, identify UAA’s best of the best, and submit your rankings
    by Wednesday, April 28.

This has been an extraordinary year for the UAA community. Throughout it all, UAA
students have worked harder than ever to continue the tradition of excellence in research
and creative scholarship. Please join us in celebrating this chapter of student achievement!
