β’ Celebrate the season with Fallidays at Silver Bell Square (thealaskacurrent.com) β A family-friendly Fallidays festival is coming to Silver Bell Square in North Pole on Sept. 26β27, with outdoor games, pumpkin picking, s'mores, and mini-golf next to Santa Claus House. Residents can explore the festive shop's North Pole-themed gifts and letters from Santa while enjoying new kids' play areas and plenty of seasonal treats.

β’ Borough Emergency Operations say wind advisory is biggest concern amid flood watch (ktuu.com) β Water on the Chena River is running high just north of North Pole, and the area below Moose Creek Dam has reached minor flood stage as a four-day flood watch begins. Borough emergency officials say the bigger worry now is strong winds on saturated ground, which could down trees, cause power outages, and complicate access to some properties.

β’ Santa's workshop remains top secret as 100 Days to Christmas countdown begins (kutv.com) β North Pole residents are already seeing Santa on duty at the Santa House on Santa Claus Lane, as the 100-day countdown to Christmas begins. Visitors can peek at a replica of his letter-writing workshop and world map, while the real toy shop stays strictly off-limits and "top secret."
