Arizona Representatives On Obamacare Repeal: How They Voted
Andy Biggs was the only Republican member of the state's delegation to vote against the bill.

All of the Republican members of the House of Representatives from Arizona - except one - voted to approve the repeal of the Affordable Care Act on Thursday. Andy Biggs, months into his first term, voted no because the repeal did not go far enough.
All of the Democrats in the delegation voted no.
"I promised my constituents a full repeal, I voted "no" on this legislation," he said in a statement.

"Unfortunately, the American Health Care Act leaves the the basic framework of Obamacare in place and continues to commit Republicans to an ill-considered, ill-defined, and an almost certainly ill-fated three-stage plan to completely repeal Obamacare at an unspecified later date," he says.
"Even worse, I have seen no compelling evidence that the AHCA will offer substantive relief to Arizona families who have been crushed by devastatingly high health insurance premiums."
On Wednesday night, Biggs introduced two amendments that would have allowed him to vote for the bill.
One would have allowed individuals to purchase health insurance across state lines and the other would have allowed states to opt out of any or all provisions of the ACA or AHCA without prior Department of Health and Human Services waiver approval.
Neither was included in the final bill.
The bill now goes to the Senate where it is not expected to pass with several Republicans - who have an even narrower margin there - already expressing opposition.
How The Delegation Voted:
