Casa Grande Police Shooting: Suspect Found Dead After Shooting Wife, Off-Duty Officer, Police Say
Police say that Juan Pablo Rodriguez-Fregoso was found dead in his car on Wednesday afternoon.

The man that Casa Grande Police say shot his wife and an ex-duty officer was found dead on Wednesday as a task force that included police officers and federal agents hunted him. Juan Pablo Rodriguez-Fregoso, 37, was dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police say that around 10 a.m. Wednesday, Rodriguez-Fregoso approached his wife, 29-year-old Yvette Rodriguez, and 40-year-old Robert Price on Lakeside Parkway near Villago Middle School.
Price is an officer with the department - he was off-duty at the time - and Rodriguez is a civilian employee of the department.

Rodriguez-Fregoso opened fire, striking Rodriguez once in the back and Price several times in the leg and torso.

Rodriguez-Fregoso fled the scene, sparking the manhunt.
Around 3 p.m., the United States Marshals Service Arizona Wanted Task Force located him in a car on Loop 202 Westbound in the San Tan Valley.
He was dead.
The investigation continues into why he opened fire.
